MCC Global Leadership Fund

Leadership development around the world is one of MCC’s five strategic aims, as set out by the Governing Board in 2021:

Leadership – Robust recruiting, training and mentoring plans to raise up a new generation of leaders

Metropolitan Community Churches (MCC) is announcing its commitment to leadership development through two key funding initiatives.

The Governing Board has set an initial target of $200,000 to be used for leadership development of lay leaders and clergy globally, in consultation with local leadership. This fund will support our existing leaders to learn and grow, and provide resources to raise up a new generation of leaders in MCC, extending the learning and building on the success of the Thriving in Ministry program.

There are so many places around the world which need to hear the message of God’s inclusive love. MCC needs leaders who are willing to learn and grow, listen to and serve their communities, and work for justice. This fund will support existing leaders to grow and encourage emerging leaders. This is an exciting time for MCC!
