MCC Networks

Congratulations to Rev. Willams da Penha Silva and the ICM siblings of the Norte Nordeste Brasil Rede! Rev. Willams has been appointed to serve as the Network Leader.

The Network Leaders Cohort convened on November 1 led by the Network Support Team of Rev. Dexter Brecht, Rev. Nilsa Irizarry and Rev. Cathy Porter Proctor. Marie Tasker provided information about the support available through MCC’s Flourish program and each of the Networks shared their Smart Goals included in their Action Plan for 2026

The West Central USA Network with the leadership of Coleader Michael Cruz held a virtual Network Gathering on November 8th. MCCers from the states of Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois, Missouri, Nebraska, Colorado and Kansas gathered for mutual support, information sharing, and fellowship. The EuropeNetwork with the leadership of Coleaders Tuula Helppi and Jochen Gewecke continued their series of Network Discussions on Thursday, November 13th. This discussion explored the topic of being Stronger Together in Perilous Times. Participants from Denmark, Finland, Germany, Italy, Scotland and the UK discussed the challenges and responses for ministering in the current political climate. Network Coleaders are responsible for facilitating the four purposes of Networks; Supporting local leaders, facilitating Communication from/to/between local congregations, Celebrating local ministry successes, and fostering Collaboration among local congregations. • Digital Ministry: Engaging our online community with creativity and care, extending our message beyond the sanctuary
