Every vibrant movement is built on the personal journeys, quiet acts of courage, and thriving communities of the people who shaped it. Now, Metropolitan Community Churches (MCC) in Europe is launching a landmark initiative to capture those very journeys—the MCC Europe Network History Project.

Whether you have been part of MCC for three decades or three months, your experience is a thread in the rich tapestry of progressive, LGBTQIA+-affirming faith across Europe. This project is a call to document, preserve, and celebrate our shared heritage—and we need your voice to do it.

How You Can Get Involved

There are four unique ways to take part in this history-making initiative:

• Join the Working Group: We are seeking passionate volunteers from across Europe to help coordinate, curate, and archive these powerful narratives.
• Share Your Personal Story: Reflect on your journey with MCC over the years. What key moments defined your spiritual path? Who supported you along the way? Every story matters, regardless of how long you’ve been involved.
• Tell Your Church’s Story: Team up with members of your local congregation to chronicle the history, milestones, and impact of your church or ministry.
• Participate in the “Family” Tree Workshops: Attending the upcoming Network Gathering in Vienna? Join our visual storytelling workshops to map out your journey and contribute to a living artwork of our collective family tree.
