We are pleased to announce the appointment of Deaconess Rocío Solis as MCC’s Vocational Liaison Coordinator for all Spanish speaking people globally, effective January 30, 2026.

Deaconess Rocío brings 29 years of dedicated service in the health sector, having worked within one of the largest public institutions in Mexico, the Mexican Social Security Institute.  With an academic background in Social Work, she has managed staff for 17 years and served as Head of the Social Work Department and Advisor for Quality and Certification Programs across various medical facilities, demonstrating strong leadership, compassion, and operational expertise.

In 1998, she discovered an MCC church for the first time, specifically Holy Cross in Guadalajara, and served on the church board as Technical Secretary. Currently, since  March 2025, she has been part of ICM “Puentes de Luz” in Querétaro, where her ministry is the Diaconate. In addition, Deaconess Rocío  has specialized experience in thanatology, supporting individuals with short life expectancies or those in terminal stages of illness. She continues to provide meaningful support to individuals experiencing grief and loss. Deaconess Rocío’s extensive experience and deep commitment to care will be valuable in this role.
