Dear Friends in Faith,
As I consider Lent approaching, I think of how it is not a season of punishment but of preparation.
Preparation to see clearly, to hear clearly, to remember what has always been true.
This Lenten season, in a world that already seems fraught with difficulty, if the thought of embracing the historic practice of deprivation feels too hard, consider adding something to your practice.
