We are thrilled to announce that the E. Rhodes and Leona B. Carpenter Foundation has awarded Metropolitan Community Churches (MCC). a generous $40,000 grant.   This significant contribution, received in November 2025, is dedicated to our Spiritual Direction Initiative.

At the heart of MCC are the dedicated clergy and lay leaders who pour their energy into our communities. However, the emotional and spiritual demands of ministry often require deep, intentional self-care—something that is not always financially accessible.

This two-year grant will allow us to increase our existing initiative to provide monthly Spiritual Direction for up to 35 leaders. By funding professional spiritual guidance, we are ensuring that our leaders have the support they need to remain resilient, grounded, and spiritually nourished as they serve others.
