As we enter the heart of the 2026 Legislative Session, the halls of the Florida State Capitol are echoing with a familiar, powerful sound: Pride at the Capitol.
This month, MCCers from Florida and elsewhere have joined forces with Equality Florida for the 60-day Pride at the Capitol campaign.
Present in the event are: Rev. Elder Lillie Brock, Rev. Vickie Miller, Rev. Rick Rhen-Sosbe, JT Priar, Kim Rabon-Noyce, and Tammy Rabon-Noyce.
The MCC Denomination is one of the sponsors of the “Let Us Live” March – the largest public mobilization event within the broader 60-day Pride at the Capitol campaign. This mobilization event is specifically focused on Transgender visibility and solidarity, and was created to protest legislation that targets the rights, healthcare, and safety of our trans and nonbinary siblings in Florida.
